ZALAISPA Regional Waste Management and Environmental Protection Ltd. was established on June 2, 2008 in the form of a joint stock company with a registered capital of HUF 5,000 thousand, which consisted of a cash deposit.

The person authorized to represent the company has been the Chairman and CEO of József Bali since the establishment of the company.

The sole owner of ZALAISPA nonprofit Zrt.

The purpose of its establishment was for the operation and asset management of the facilities and equipment implemented within the framework of the West-Balaton and Zala Valley regional waste management project to be carried out by a company of its own ownership. To this end, on 30 December 2008, ZALAISPA signed a Public Service Contract with the Waste Management Association for the operation of the established assets. Within the framework of this contract, the Company established its asset management business unit, within the framework of which a part of the assets was allocated to the service providers.

The main activity of the Ltd. is the collection of non-hazardous waste based on the registration with the court of registration (381100). The company does not currently provide public services, it performs the operational tasks of the Zalabér waste treatment plant implemented within the framework of the project. The landfill with a capacity of 8,500 tons can dispose of non-hazardous solid waste from the public, the modern sorting hall creates the recycling of selective waste, and the possibility of recycling biodegradable waste is provided by the composting space. The heavy machinery and vehicles needed for this are also available to the company. The entire complex was completed in 2008, so the Zrt. Can provide the surrounding settlements with a high-quality complete waste management that also complies with EU standards.
