The Wyandot County Board of Commissioners established Wyandot County as a single county District on March 13, 1989 and the Wyandot County Solid Waste Management District was formed on April 27, 1989. The Wyandot County Solid Waste Management District serves Wyandot County residents through the creation and implementation of the Wyandot County Solid Waste Management Plan. The Wyandot County Solid Waste Management District operates the Wyandot County Recycling Center, provides local recycling drives and business routes, and supports local curbside recycling programs.
