Wisconsin Ballast Inc. initially started business in March of 1989, as a partnership. We were incorporated as of the beginning of 1990. We began our business by servicing southeast Wisconsin and soon spread to cover the entire state. Since then we have expanded our services to reach from Canada down to the Gulf of Mexico.

Some of the services we provide include: both PCB & Non-PCB ballast disposal/recycling, from both fluorescent & HID light fixtures (with light bulb recycling if needed). For more information on any of our services, please explore the other pages of this website.

Congratulations! You have made the wise decision to replace your existing indoor HID (High Intensity Discharge) lighting fixtures with the new extremely energy efficient T5 or T8 fluorescent fixtures. By doing so you should realize a 50% or more energy savings. What a “green” solution!

Let us help you with your recycling. In most cases, with reasonable quantities, we can provide for the recycling of the HID ballasts, the HID lamps and the transportation for NO cost. In some cases, with larger quantities, we can do the above and create positive cash flow to you! This positive cash flow may be used to offset the costs associated with fluorescent ballast and fluorescent lamp recycling. And, yes, you will receive recycling certificates for ballasts and lamps. In addition, we also will provide complete instructions for proper packaging.
