COMPANY OVERVIEW

Established in 1978, Windfield has always been at the forefront of recycling. Initially, its focus was the refining and recovery of precious metals from electronic and manufacturing scrap. As its customer base grew, Windfield realized that their customers’ recycling needs included materials that it did not handle and that its own operations were generating similar recyclable materials.

In 1996, Windfield expanded its operations into non-ferrous materials. Shortly afterwards, it added the Sierra T550 SL shear/baler/logger to its facilities, an equipment change that allowed it to process ferrous material as well. Its goal was to provide its customers with a single source solution to their recycling needs. By dealing with Windfield, customers are assured of receiving the highest return on their recyclable materials because Windfield owns the process and they are equally assured of the proper disposition of those materials
