Williams Metalfinishing, Inc. was founded in 1975 by Robert Williams. Mr. Williams started the company with three employees in a 2000 square foot building, which was originally an Army barracks located on the grounds of the local airport. At present, Williams Metalfinishing employs just under 100 people and occupies 70,000 square feet.The business was built on our hand polishing capabilities. There is a general hand polishing area where aluminum, brass, zinc, steel and stainless steel are polished.ISO 9001:2008 and FFL license certified. Today, Williams Metalfinishing, Inc. specializes in Automatic Buffing and Robotic Cell Polishing. We currently operate 11 Harper Automatic Buffing machines. Our latest additions to our automated processes have been robotic polishing cells. These robotic cells allow our operators to perform other metal polishing operations on a nearby machine while tending the robot. Vapor degreasing is one of the companyÂ’s biggest assets. This area allows us to clean parts before, or in most cases, after polishing operations. This cleaning process provides our customer with parts that are free of buffing compounds and grease. Williams Metalfinishing is fortunate to have our own in house maintenance department which designs and constructs all necessary fixtures for our Automatic Buffing machines and material handling needs. Preventive maintenance and machine repair are also handled by our maintenance personnel. Williams Metalfinishing not only has automated manufacturing capabilities, we also have the latest in Data Collection Systems.
