The Männer company was founded in 1962 by the brothers Willi Männer and Erich Männer as a transport company for building materials based in Bissingen / Teck. As early as 1970, the opportunity that lies in the disposal and recycling of waste was recognized and the disposal area was established.
Erich Männer died in 1972, and from then on the company was continued as a sole proprietorship by Willi Männer. Two years later, the logistics area was expanded to include international transport.
The Männer company has been operating under the currently registered name of Männer GmbH & Co. KG since 1981. The workforce has now grown from four employees to around 20.
Together with Eberhard Lebküchner and Matthias Einsele, Willi Männer recognized early on the potential that lies in the processing of predefined waste into substitute fuels. Therefore, the company ELM Recycling GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 1998.
