Whetstone Associates provides consulting services in groundwater hydrology, geochemistry, and hydrologic engineering to clients located throughout the western United States.  Our staff includes professional engineers and scientists with a wide range of domestic and international mining experience.  We specialize in multi-disciplinary projects for permitting, construction, environmental compliance, and mine closure.Our clients are located throughout the western United States and  Latin America, and include mining companies, industry, and governmental agencies.  We also provide consulting services  to individuals for foundation drainage design, culvert and channel hydraulics, and water supply.   Our office is located in Gunnison, Colorado.  Our professional staff  includes licensed civil engineers, hydrogeologists, geochemists,  geologists, and numerical modeling specialists. We maintain full  drafting and design support, including rendering and 3-dimensional  modeling.  Our services are backed by over 30 years of combined project  experience by our principals Susan Wyman, P.E., and Scott Effner, P.G.
