In 2005 companies Koopmans Recycling BV and Van Beek IJzer- en Metaalhandel BV merged. The merger of Koopmans and Van Beek has resulted in a diversity of materials, such as paper, ferrous, non-ferrous, plastic and wood (pallets). There is also purchase and sale of new steel and trade goods.

The cooperation between Koopmans Recycling BV and Van Beek IJzer- en Metaalhandel BV was carried out by the owners André Heijblom and Arjan Koopmans under the name: Koopmans & Van Beek.

As of October 1, 2016, in connection with the further professionalization of our company and the realization of clear brand awareness, it has been decided to continue both companies under one (new) name: Weststad Recycling.

The site in Oosterhout covers approximately 21,000 m2 and we have approximately 500 containers in
use.

There are 20 employees. The team of employees collects and processes waste from five main groups on a daily basis: paper, plastic, wood, old iron / metals and residual waste. The working area extends from Rotterdam to 's-Hertogenbosch.

Weststad Recycling uses 4
container trucks for the supply and removal of the materials .

From the point of view of cost control and environmentally responsible processing, it is wise
to entrust the separated waste flows to one permanent specialist partner. It is very important for the supplying party to realize that waste processing is not by definition a cost item, but can also generate income in some cases. Especially when the volume is large enough for profitable transport.

Weststad Recycling guarantees companies to take responsibility for the disposal of the regular five waste flows at minimal cost. Depending on the development in the market, the volume and composition of the waste flows, there is a good chance that the customer will earn money from the collaboration.

Weststad Recycling does not charge rent for the containers.
