West Coast Iron was founded by Hermann Kopf in 1988. The company has focused on the fabrication and erection of structural steel and misc. metals. West Coast has also expanded with a Solar Division and has been a pioneer in this area for commercial projects requiring new methodologies that West Coast has developed.
