We are a medium-sized service company, founded in 1964, which can look back on 40 years of tradition and experience in the field of municipal collection, container service and waste recycling.

Due to the size of our company, we are extremely flexible and ready for action at any time. We also try to fulfill special requests from our customers.

Company history

Present and future

At the Wächtersbach location, the company employs around 100 people. We are a training company for the profession of office clerk.

45 vehicles owned by Weisgerber Umweltservice are in use in the disposal and transport sector. Furthermore, the Weisgerber company successfully employs permanent subcontractors.

We are planning to expand our administration building so that we can continue to be a flexible point of contact for our customers when it comes to waste disposal.

2016
The municipal collection was expanded to include the town of Bruchköbel and the community of Neuberg. Furthermore, the company Weisgerber Umweltservice GmbH has been collecting bulky waste for the municipality of Mainhausen since the beginning of the year.

2015
The company Weigerber Umweltservice GmbH was able to expand its field of activity in the field of roll-off and skip container transports as well as waste recycling and looks after the recycling depots Langenselbold and Nidderau with their services.

2014
The municipal collection was expanded to include the municipality of Freigericht.
Furthermore, our company premises were expanded by a further area of ​​5000 m² in order to expand the waste processing division.

2013
The company Weisgerber Umweltservice GmbH is expanding its field of activity from July and provides further services in the field of municipal waste disposal, roll-off and skip container transport. It takes over the municipal bulky waste collection of the city of Fulda as well as the bulky waste and paper basket waste disposal using roll-off and drop-off containers at the recycling center of the city of Fulda.

2012
The municipal collection was expanded to include the cities of Nidderau and Schlüchtern.

2011
In the municipalities of Glauburg, Hirzenhain, Kefenrod, Limeshain and in the cities of Büdingen, Gedern, Nidda and Ortenberg, the company Weisgerber Umweltservice GmbH carries out the municipal collection. The company also received the contract for municipal waste collection for the community of Hasselroth and the city of Bad Soden-Salmünster.

2010
The municipal collection was expanded to include the municipalities of Sinntal and Hammersbach.

New ways of recycling commercial waste were developed. Due to the increasing volume, the company is now working directly with final recycling facilities. The selection here is based on ecological aspects.

2009
In October 2009 Fabian Weisgerber was accepted into the GmbH as 2nd managing director. For the purpose of developing the company, Fabian Weisgerber works at the Technical University in Giessen in the field of environmental and safety technology.

2008
The company Weisgerber Umweltservice GmbH carries out the municipal collection in the municipalities of Birstein, Flörsbachtal and Linsengericht. Light packaging (DSD waste) is collected in the municipalities of Wächtersbach, Bad Soden-Salmünster, Bad Orb, Gelnhausen, Birstein, Brachttal and Linsengericht.

The company also handles the entire volume of light packaging (yellow sack or yellow bin) in the Main-Kinzig district at the Wächtersbach location. The output streams are coordinated by the Weisgerber company.

2007
Due to an increasing number of Europe-wide transport orders, an in-house dispatching department was set up in the field of national and international long-distance transport.

Acquisition of a shredder and drum screen for processing wood, green waste and mixed construction waste.

2006
Due to the high volume of transport in the disposal area and to ensure continued flexible customer orientation, a walking floor vehicle was purchased.

2005
Expansion of the waste collection through the city of Wächtersbach with the entire city area. 

The area of ​​waste logistics also expanded, which enabled two more hooklifts to be financed and the transport to include Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Austria and France.

2004
The collection of recyclable materials through the town of Gelnhausen with the districts of Hailer, Meerholz, Höchst and Haitz was expanded

2001
Due to the increasing tonnage of garbage goods, a storage hall of 750 m² is built for better waste handling. 

2000
Udo Weisgerber becomes the sole partner.

1996
The implementation of the planning, the construction of an office building, garbage boxes and garbage transfer station took place. The GmbH, Weisgerber Umweltservice GmbH, was also founded with the main shareholder Udo Weisgerber.

1995
Planning of a new company premises in Industriestrasse in Wächtersbach.

1992
Another area of ​​special transport opened up, which enabled the company to accept orders throughout the Federal Republic of Germany.

1991
Due to the strong demand of the municipalities for sewer investigations, another investment was made in sewer cleaning. A color channel TV system with a swivel head and corresponding computer evaluation was purchased.

The first hookloader was also purchased, which offered the possibility of transporting containers up to a volume of 36 cbm.

At that time the company had 12 employees and a fleet of 12 vehicles.

1990
With the entry into force of the circular economy u. Waste Act, the packaging ordinance for the return of used packaging by trade and industry, the dual system with the “Green Dot”, was introduced. The Weisgerber company operates the collection in the municipalities of Birstein, Brachttal and Linsengericht.

1989
After the revision of the waste concept for the Main-Kinzig district, it was necessary to mount a crane on one of the skip loaders for the purpose of emptying recycling bins, i.e. recycling igloos. According to this system, the municipality of Linsengericht is disposed of in the area of ​​waste glass and scrap metal.

In the course of technical progress, a black and white sewer TV system was purchased to control sewer house connections.

1988
A further increase in garbage collection by the municipality of Linsengericht with the previously missing district of Altenhaßlau took place. Since then, around 20,000 citizens in the communities of Birstein, Brachttal and Linsengericht have been disposing of the waste.

1986
The Weisgerber company is active in the field of recyclable material collection and since then the community of Brachttal has been disposing of waste paper, waste glass and scrap metal.

1980
A clear demand, in the private as well as in the industrial sector, for the provision of skips, caused the entry into container transport. This was done by purchasing a skip loader and numerous containers up to a volume of 20 cbm. 

1978
Purchase of a sewer cleaning structure for the existing Unimog and thus the expansion of the company in the sewer cleaning sector.

1976
The first machine hall was built in order to carry out repairs and store the vehicles. 

1972
Acquisition of the first garbage truck.

1971
The expansion of the garbage disposal with the orders Brachttal, Birstein and Linsengericht as well as the districts Eidengesäß, Großenhausen, Waldrode, Lützelhausen and Geislitz took place.

1970
In Udenhain, orderly waste collection was introduced and the Weisgerber company was entrusted with the task of collecting the waste. The garbage collection work was carried out with the help of a Unimog and a garbage hanger specially purchased for garbage collection.

1964
The cornerstone of the Weisgerber Umweltservice company was laid on August 22nd. At that time, the service company only included the emptying of domestic sewage equipment.
