Weerec OÜ is a group company that can be called one of the largest circular economy groups in Estonia. We belong to the Net Systems Group.

WeeRec recycles old electrical and electronic waste and plastic packaging . While the recycling of electronic waste is partly pre-treatment, plastic packaging is all recycled in the form of new material. Plastic packaging waste becomes a raw material again, which in the big picture means "we give new life to waste in the form of secondary raw materials". The electronic equipment handling plant was built in Kiidu in 2005 and in 2015 a plastic washing and regranulation line was acquired.

The electronic equipment will be demolished in a house built for Weerec, which was made as an extension of the former garden building in Kuusalu. Plastic is processed in an outbuilding, in a former boiler house, from where the entire Kiiu small town was heated. We are the only company in Estonia that recycles two different types of this material at the same time.

We belong to the Net Systems Group , which also includes the lead battery recycler Ecometal AS in Sillamäe and the company Höhle OÜ in Raplamaa, which produces microtubes necessary for the installation of fiber optic cables .
