In the mid-1940s, a small family-owned business was developed to provide handyman services and manufacture awnings for builders and contractors. Phone books were not being printed at that time to conserve paper during WWII. In order to be listed in the phone book, the company took the name and phone number of a business that had recently closed its doors. The name taken was Wayne Regulator, a company that once produced gauges.In November of 1956, we were incorporated as Wayne Craft, Inc.Our product lines expanded to include the manufacture and installation of screen rooms, sunrooms and porch railings, as well as awnings.
