Wastequip was founded in 1989 by Chuck Walton, with the mission of creating a national waste equipment manufacturing company. Walton acquired several privately owned companies to create a North American footprint of 40 locations by 2007. Over the next few years, many of the smaller, regional brands were consolidated under other Wastequip brands. Since its formation, Wastequip has developed a reputation for superior quality waste handling and recycling equipment. With a strong history of manufacturing expertise and product innovation, Wastequip manufactures a full line of products, systems, and solutions for the collection and transportation of solid waste, recyclables, liquid waste, and organics. Based in Charlotte, N.C., Wastequip employs more than 1,500 associates with operations in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
