What we do
The composting process of Vosse Groen Recycling BV.
Composting takes place through the activity of bacteria and fungi that are naturally present on the organic material. They break down the material and use the products for their own life processes. In this decomposition process they use oxygen and residual gases (ammonia and volatile sulfur compounds), carbon dioxide, water and heat are created. The result is compost, a soil improver with a high content of organic matter and fertilizers.
At Vosse Groen Recycling, the green composting is carried out in the open air and follows the following different steps:
1. Preparation (mixing, shredding and setting up the compost table)
2. The composting process
3. The post-processing. (Clean up and sieve in different fractions, fine [010] and medium [020]
