Voortman Metal Recycling BV, or VMR, has known its right to exist for over 10 years. Located in beautiful Twentse Rijssen. VMR was created by the collaboration between father-in-law Reint Voortman and son-in-law Warner Agteresch. VMR was founded on 1 January 2010 and has since become an indispensable part of the metal trade in Rijssen and the surrounding area.

From Collecting Scrap Iron To Complete Metal Dealer

A roof on the industrial area seemed the right place to start the company. Located slightly further than the current industrial hall. Nothing wrong with that, but extra space was certainly not an unnecessary luxury. With a view to more space, VMR has moved to a hall on the other side of the industrial estate. Space was certainly here, but perhaps too much!

The move to the immense hall did result in a professional translation. There was room for growth and addressing different customers and companies. VMR started with the sale of new iron , in addition to taking in old iron. Today, VMR, as a complete hardware dealer, offers all possibilities around the metal trade.

After more than five years, VMR has decided to move into a smaller industrial hall, where they have been located for about two years now. When asked whether this space will not become too small, VMR answers the following: 'We have to be creative with the space we have, so we work upwards!
