The von Allmen Transporte company was founded in 1977 by Peter and Elena von Allmen. Benedicht Fankhauser's existing transport company could be taken over at that time. From 1989 Elena ran the company alone until Roland von Allmen, the son of Peter and Elena, took over the management in 2000. Since July 1st, 2011, Roland has also been the owner of the sole proprietorship and runs the company of around 8 people (5 FTE) together with his wife Elvina. After the fire in 2010, when the residential and commercial building at Scheidgasse 20 fell victim, operations were relocated to Frutigstrasse 24 in the Chappelen industrial zone in Mülenen.
