Viking Recycling AS was founded in January 2017 and is located on Godøya in Møre og Romsdal. In just a few years, the company has developed into a major player in the industry by establishing six new companies from Vadsø in the north to Lista in the south through good cooperation with partners in the recycling industry.

Our skilled employees have extensive experience and broad expertise in the industry. We are committed to delivering quality at all levels, so that you get the most trouble-free way to deliver the boat or your waste to a facility that takes care of all environmental considerations in the best possible way. ​

All the companies have been approved as reception and treatment facilities for discarded recreational boats and commercial vessels as well as nets, ropes and nets by the Norwegian Environment Agency. The company also recycles, removes and stores metal, industrial waste, plastic and other recyclable materials. We are helpful with the preparation of an environmental remediation report, a waste plan for demolition approval and the hiring of crews with all the necessary certification and experience from industrial dismantling of larger structures. We also offer retrieval and salvage of objects that are inaccessible in terrain or sea.

Viking Recycling AS disposes of 4000m2 indoors for storage and production in Geilevika on Godøya, where the company also has a deepwater quay. For leisure boats up to three tonnes, reception is free, and we pick up boats throughout Møre og Romsdal. Through our companies and partners, we can assist customers in Troms and Finnmark, Nordland, Trøndelag and Agder. 

Viking Recycling AS is part of a Norwegian success story. In the course of two years until the end of 2019, as many as 20,000 boats were delivered to approved receptions in Norway. We are proud that the recycling industry and the boat owners together contribute to the sea being cleaner.
