Founded by Victor Freidus in 1918 in New York City, we are an industrial supplier specializing in machine shop supplies, metal-cutting tools, and precision measuring instruments. In the 1930's we incorporated and stopped selling machinery, concentrating on metalworking tools and published our first catalog. After the millenium we shifted our focus to the internet. In 2005 Victor Machinery moved to Brooklyn and in 2015 we came to our current home in Woodside, Queens. The company is headed by Marc Freidus, the third generation to join the company.
We carry thousands of hard to find taps and dies - in both inch and metric sizes. If we do not stock the tap you need we can often have it custom made in as little as 24 hours.
We stock measuring tools such as electronic calipers, dial indicators, micrometers, rulers, and gages. Our cutting tools include carbide end mills, drill bits, reamers, taps & dies, and bandsaw blades. Other shop tools include drill chucks, lathe and milling machine accessories, socket screws, abrasives, and hand tools. In addition to metalworkers, our customers include wood and plastic manufacturers and research & development departments. We also cater to jewelers, hobbyists, gunsmiths, artists, scientific researchers, maintenance departments, as well as auto and motorcycle repair shops.
We offer quality tools from both international and US manufacturers at discount prices, in stock for same day shipping.
