A family business

Van der Heijden Nistelrode has been around since January 1964, when founder Martien van der Heijden bought a Poclain: a mobile excavator. In addition to his farming business, he started a business as a subcontractor for excavation work and rental of hydraulic excavators.

In the late 1960s and early 1970s, Toon and Jan, Martien's two sons, also decided to work in their father's company. The activities were expanded to include transport and ground, road and hydraulic engineering.

In 1987 Toon took over the company from his father Martien. He expanded the activities even further with demolition work and a sand and gravel trade.

One hundred percent commitment, passionate and craftsmanship for more than fifty years.

Van der Heijden Nistelrode's first debris crusher and screener did not come until the mid-1990s. Toon built these two machines himself. He expected the processing and recycling of stony materials to be the future. By building the machines a small and careful start was made on this.

After several years of working with this rubble crusher and adjusting various things, a new rubble crusher was built at the beginning of this century. This also means a definitive farewell to all other activities and Van der Heijden Nistelrode has made mobile rubble breaking his specialty.

In 2008, Van der Heijden Nistelrode put its second rubble crusher into operation. 

In 2018, the third generation, son Tijn and daughter Eefje, took over the company from their father Toon. Together they run the company. With a permanent team of employees, they stand for decisiveness, flexibility, but above all quality!

A third rubble crushing plant was put into use at the end of 2019. With this, the company has achieved significant growth and capacity increase.
