The start-up of our family business dates back to the late 1950s. Then my grandparents, Maria Bally and Karel Dillen, bought a piece of land in the center of Oud-Turnhout. Together they started a trade in scrap metals. My parents, Josephine Dillen and Marc Van den Broeck, shared their passion for trade and metal. In 1986 they took over the business and continued the life's work of my grandparents. They modernized the business and specialized in buying, selling, transporting and sorting scrap metals.

Me and my brother Nic decided to help build the company after our studies. Each from our own angle, we attach great importance to corporate social responsibility. This vision is reflected in the modern approach, machines and the materials used in the design of our new yard.

Recycling old metals is not new, but the way in which this is done is evolving very quickly. Partly because of our new yard, we are already taking a step into the future.
