For almost fifty years we have been collecting and recycling ferrous and non-ferrous materials.

Quality of the materials treated, speed of delivery and absolute compliance with environmental law standards: these are the elements that have led our company to become a sector leader in the province of Potenza.

We were the first to have obtained the authorizations required by the Legislative Decree 152/06.

CUSTOMERS

The area of ​​influence of the plant is the entire regional territory, with particular attention to the industrial areas of Tito and San Nicola di Melfi.

The main references for the sale of ferrous material are Ferriere Nord, which is based in Potenza and which collects a large part of the scrap produced in our region and neighboring ones, and other steel mills based in northern Italy.

For non-ferrous materials we turn to traders and wholesalers present on the national territory.

THE CERTIFICATIONS

We have ISO 9001: 2015 (quality management certification, which assesses the organization's ability to provide certain products or services), 18001 (health and safety management certification for workers in the workplace) and 14001 certifications. relating to environmental protection. Furthermore, we comply with the provisions regarding the management of metal scrap by the EU Council Regulation No. 333/2001.

QUALITY POLICIES

With a view to implementing integrated certified management systems in compliance with the aforementioned regulations, we have adopted an Integrated Policy which aims to define the guiding principles and guidelines shared with internal staff at all levels and externally, according to which we provide our services and develop our activities on a daily basis.

ASSOFERMET

Assofermet ( A national association of traders in iron and steel, non-ferrous metals, ferrous scrap, hardware and the like ) is the national association of entrepreneurs who carry out trade and pre-processing in the iron and steel sectors , non-ferrous metals, ferrous and non-ferrous scrap, hardware and the like, as well as services relating to the aforementioned activities.

We are associated to ssofermet because we believe that the face of union strength, because we want to keep up to date and in step with the times and because we want to share activities, ideas, experiences and information.

ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGERS REGISTER

We are registered with the Chamber of Commerce of Potenza, in the Register of environmental waste managers with the number 000007 .

The register of environmental waste managers has been operational since April 2006. It is identified as the competent authority with which all companies that carry out waste collection and transport activities and that arrange for their disposal and recovery are required to register.

L ' registration must be renewed every five years . Registration is also required for waste brokerage and trade activities and for the remediation of sites and goods containing asbestos.

The national register of companies that carry out environmental management is set up at the Ministry of the Environment and Land Protection. The register is divided into a National Committee, based in the same Ministry and in regional and provincial Sections, based in the Chambers of Commerce of the regional capitals and of the autonomous provinces of Trento and Bolzano. The National Committee and the regional and provincial Sections are interconnected by the telematic network of the Chambers of Commerce.
