Imupalvelu Luukkainen Ky started its operations in the environmental maintenance service sector already more than half a century ago - in 1965. The past decades have been marked by both strong growth and the development of the company to respond to the constantly changing operating environment and the renewed waste management regulations. In the beginning, the company employed simple waste collection and delivering loads to the landfill. The development and continuous technicalization of the environmental management industry can be seen in, for example, in tank and sewer maintenance operations. Imupalvelu Luukkainen Ky has responded to technical challenges and we can offer modern and efficient combination trucks with suction and pressure equipment for sewer maintenance. The equipment of the combination car includes e.g. an oil burner that can be used to heat pressurized water. In this way, defrosting drains and washing greasy drains can be performed efficiently. The final result of the work can still be checked with a sewer imaging camera.

We direct the collection loads directly to the licensed reception points for different waste materials. The waste company in our area is Savonlinnan Seudun Jätehuolto Oy . This company, owned by the city of Savonlinna and three other shareholders, takes care of the final disposal of municipal waste regulated by the Waste Act in our region, as well as the processing of hazardous and special waste.

We carefully consider our social responsibility in our operations. As proof of this, we have already maintained a PKY-LAATU certified operating system since 2000, which is confirmed by an independent audit.
