At the end of the 80s, Michel CHARREYRE began to structure the VACHER group (of his grandfather's last name) around the VACHER Material Company (SMV, whose existence dated back to 1968, specializing in public works and maintenance of equipment and machinery), and with the creation of the VACHER Recovery and Valorization Company (SRVV).
Endowed with an obvious vision and sense of anticipation, enlightened by his meetings within FEDEREC (union of recycling professionals whose company is still to this day the only representative of the department) then PRAXY (including he participated in the creation), Michel CHARREYRE created in 2001 the Société de Transport VACHER (STV), in order to meet the needs of local authority customers to transport their household waste, and to provide the means to transport materials sorted by SRVV to their recycling channels.
In January 2007, in Allègre, they created the company Broyages Industriels VACHER (BIV) specializing in the sorting, crushing and recycling of thermoplastics, as well as in the international trade of recycled raw materials.
The Vacher Recovery and Valorization Company is committed to a process of preventing the environmental impacts associated with its activities. With our experience in the field of waste management for more than 25 years, the ambition of our company today is the continuous improvement of our environmental performance.
In this context, we integrate into our system the study of our activities, but also those of our customers, by respecting their requirements, and those of our suppliers, by checking in particular the impact of our purchases.
