About Us

On November 11, 1971, Mr. Uwe Hanusa and his wife Anna Ilse took over the scrap metal and metal trade founded by his father-in-law.

On January 5th, 1972 they received from the district of Braunschweig, after having passed their examination at the Chamber of Industry and Commerce, the permit for a standing business on the property in Vechelde, Am Windmühlenberg.

In 1974 the first container truck with 8 containers was purchased. The permit to collect and transport waste according to Section 12 of the Waste Disposal Act followed in 1975.

Three years later the company's headquarters were moved to the Brackestrasse site. The continuous expansion of the infrastructure followed. The warehouse was expanded in 1988 and a large oil separator was installed in 1991.
After the company owner Uwe Hanusa passed away in August 2011, his wife became the owner of the company.

His daughter Silke Hanusa and her husband Guido have been running his company since January 1st, 2013.
