We first became interested in creative ironwork after becoming a welder in 1978. A blacksmithing course in the early 1980's opened up new possibilities for creative work by adding the forge to welding and cutting iron. Blacksmithing can transform iron from its raw state into a beautiful work a very gratifying experience. we am inspired by organic forms that are found in the natural world. Art gives meaning to our lives, and while we enjoy producing traditional forms of ironwork, my greatest reward comes from creating my own abstract and functional designs.
