Urban Mining Northeast (UMNE) is a licensed regional producer of Pozzotive^®, a high performance postconsumer pozzolan and functional industrial filler. Pozzotive^® is used in a multitude of applications including: concrete products, paints, coatings, adhesives, polymers, elastomers and many others.

Using patented technology, UMNE is able to take any type of post consumer glass, and turn it into a fine powder like substance, Pozzotive^®.

Pozzotive^® itself is a unique material because it is derived from recycled postconsumer glass. As a result, incorporating Pozzotive^® into a product dramatically reduces greenhouse gas emissions, reduces the need for virgin mined materials, and saves valuable landfill space. Additionally, products that use Pozzotive^® also contribute more heavily toward achieving valuable LEED points.
