Two Worlds Forge, LLC. Mike began doing metal work at about the age of thirteen years old. That early start was due largely to the influence of his uncle, an exceptional millwright in his day. In high school Mike took several years of drafting, machine shop, and welding. After high school, he went off to Technical college in Toronto, where he completed a welding technology program which included metallurgy, metal fabrication, as well as a high-pressure welding certification (CWS SMAW 4G). Following technical college, Mike gained several years of experience working in a Stainless steel fabrication (restaurant equipment), as well as heavy structural steel fabrication.
More recently, after a career change and many years in the systems & software industry, Mike returned to metal work as a way of expressing his creativity and craftsmanship. He is a member of the Artist Blacksmith Association of North America (ABANA), New England Blacksmiths (NEB), North East Blacksmiths association, and Lake Champlain Maritime Museum (LCCM) Blacksmiths Guild. He also teaches blacksmithing at LCM
