The Transmétaux company specializes in the purchase and recycling of ferrous and non-ferrous products.
Collection, sorting, recycling and recovery activities have been the basis of management from the start.  In addition to placing containers in companies, it can also count on a vast influx of materials brought in by individuals.

The Transmétaux company was created in 1971 by Mr Bal and Mr Philippe Close. The day-to-day management was in the hands of Mr Bal, later followed by his son Michel Bal. The focus was mostly on non-ferrous.

In February 2012, Transmétaux was taken over by Mr Vincent Mattelaer who had already been in the sector for 25 years.

Mr Vincent Mattelaer gave new impetus to the company by adding the ferrous and adding international trading in the business.
