Transco’s Enviro-Screen us a multi use system. When used with water intake systems, the self cleaning screen prevents fish (smolts to adults) as well as contaminants from entering the water intake flow. Screen mesh size is adjustable to best match flow requirements. The screen system can also be used to clean water flows prior to discharge into rivers, streams, lakes, or septic systems.
•The screen is very effective in removing plastic, and other contaminants typically not removed by settling ponds and other treatment systems.
STANDARD FEATURES
• Frame and chain available in stainless steel or mild steel with marine epoxy coating
• Screen in polyester woven mesh, suitable for use in cold weather. This allows it to be dimensionally stable in temperatures up to 200 degrees Farenheit. The mesh screen is continuous without brakes for panels.
• Various water flow requirements are easily matched by altering the mesh size.
• Screen system sizes are flexible for width and height, allowing easy adaptation to existing locations.
• The screen system can cycle continuously, or by timer delay.
• Screen cleaning is performed by a water spray system, with contaminants recovery matched to customer needs.
