TQ Recycling base is within the heart of the South Hams in Devon between Totnes and Kingsbridge.

The post code area is TQ, where the company takes its name from, is known as a hub of free thinking and innovation especially with regards to environmental issues.

TQ Recycling takes great pride in the fact that the local population are extremely knowledgeable with regard to recycling and the wider issues of reducing waste to landfill.

TQ Recycling the Company

The company is broken into three teams, these are,

Transport Operations

Transport Operations is responsible for all collection services, this is for our wheel bins, sacks, skips, and baled/loose materials.

TQ recycling have an extensive fleet of vehicles for our customer requirements and the particular geographical and topographical demands of Devon, (those very narrow lanes need special trucks).

Materials Recycling Operations

The Materials Recycling Team, (Recycling Factory), ensure that all material deposited at our Recycling factory at Torr Quarry is separated, sorted, recovered and made available for recycling back into its generic product type.

This is done using the latest sorting machinery and technology which sorts by size, dimension (2D and 3D), material type (cardboard, paper, plastics, metals), and even by specification of material (PET, HDPE, LDPE, Brown Kraft, mixed papers, news & pamphlets).

Commercial

The commercial team is responsible for the customer services, sales, marketing and administration of both the TQ Recycling operational departments.
