Touchstone Exploration Inc. is a Canadian-based, international and domestic upstream oil and gas company currently active in the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. The Company's strategy is to leverage western Canadian enhanced oil recovery experience and capability to international onshore properties to create shareholder value. Jurisdictions will be targeted that have stable political and fiscal regimes coupled with large defined original oil in place.
In Trinidad, Touchstone holds over 10,000 working interest acres of onshore producing properties that have known crude oil reserves. In addition, the Company holds over 44,500 exploration working interest acres that are being evaluated.
Domestically, Touchstone holds over 31,500 non-producing working interest acres in Saskatchewan with a primary focus on the Viking formation.
Touchstone's common shares are listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the trading symbol TXP.
The Company was originally incorporated in 1983 under the name Petrobank Energy Resources Ltd. and in 1986 the Company became Petrobank Energy and Resources Ltd. In 2014 the Company entered into a strategic combination by way of a plan or arrangement that resulted in the acquisition of Touchstone Exploration Inc. Petrobank Energy and Resources Ltd. subsequently adopted the name Touchstone Exploration Inc. ("Touchstone"). Operations in Trinidad are currently operating under the name Touchstone Exploration (Trinidad) Ltd.
As a result of the acquisition, Touchstone is positioned to increase cash flow per share through an expanded internal capital program, and focus on low-risk drilling opportunities. Touchstone's strategy will include securing producing or undeveloped reserves which will provide near-term cash flow for reinvestment. The three basic corporate criteria Touchstone has for international opportunities include: large defined oil in place, stable government, and attractive fiscal regime.

Our health and safety program works every day to ensure that all regulatory requirements and industry standards are understood and abided by within the workplace. We comply with all of the necessary Federal, Provincial and Local laws, as well as recognized safety practices. This is done with complete willingness as we strongly believe that workplace safety is a major component to the foundation of our corporate culture. We are currently working towards completing the Certificate of Recognition (COR) program. This program will consist of a third-party safety management system which will be actively scoring each element of our system using the ENFORM Audit Protocol. Any employee, at any given time, can be randomly selected to participate in the scoring process. We are looking forward to achieving this not only necessary, but worthwhile certificate.
