Total-Western, Inc. was formed July 1, 1995 by the combination of The Western Companies and Total Services, Inc. In 2013, Total-Western acquired the assets of Gene Watson Construction and began serving the oil fields of Central California. Today, with six regional locations, highly qualified management, skilled personnel, state-of-the-art equipment, and shop facility resources, Total-Western is exceptionally positioned to provide construction, maintenance, fabrication and specialty services to a diverse range of customers throughout the Western United States.
Originally founded in 1972 with a single office in Paramount, California, Western Industrial Maintenance specialized in providing maintenance and construction services to refinery, power and industrial clients. By 1978, the company had expanded to four offices, adding Richmond, California; Portland, Oregon and Mount Vernon, Washington to its service area. Total Services, Inc. began providing construction and maintenance services to the Central California area in 1983.
In 1987, The Western Companies became affiliated with Bragg Investment Company, affording them direct access to the crane, rigging, heavy equipment, and transportation capabilities of the premier crane and rigging company in the Western United States.
