Tierra Right of Way Services, Ltd., was founded in Tucson in 1989 as a local right of way firm providing acquisition and relocation assistance services to Cities, Counties, and private-sector clients in Arizona. Over the years, we steadily expanded our scope to become the nationally recognized firm we are today.  Tierra began offering cultural resource and GIS mapping services in 1993, the same year we opened our first Seattle branch office. Over the next decade, we continued to expand our service area, successfully completing major telecommunications and electric transmission projects in New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, and Washington, as well as several significant, statewide utility and transportation projects in Arizona and Washington.  In 2000, we opened our Phoenix branch and began offering National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA)–related environmental and biological compliance services. Tierra also expanded operations in California, completing a number of projects for public agencies and regional utility companies. We opened branches in Santa Fe in 2001, Las Vegas in 2004, and Albuquerque in 2011.  Today, Tierra is one of the top turnkey land services firms in the western United States.
