The company "The Recovery Macero Di Defazio Nicola & CSRL" with registered office in Barletta (BT) at Via Vecchia Madonna dello Sterpeto 11, is currently in possession of the authorization to operate the waste storage and reserve non-hazardous specials according to Executive Determination No. 4 of February 4, 2011.

The company integrates the activities of storage of waste similar to urban waste and special non-hazardous waste aimed at disposal activities consisting of preliminary waste storage operations, and recovery activities consisting of operations of placing in reserve.

This need is motivated by investments made by the Company for the introduction of new recovery technologies that have expanded the equipment available for recovery activities.

The current legislation (Legislative Decree 152/06, Ministerial Decree 05/02/98, Ministerial Decree 186/06, Legislative Decree 04/2008, Legislative Decree 128/2010) is all aimed at minimizing the volumes of waste, duly differentiated , which is followed by their treatment aimed at subsequent recycling. This is the main activity of the Company which consists in reusing, through advanced technologies and highly qualified personnel, types of material that would otherwise go to landfill, such as paper, plastic, metals etc.

History

The Recovery Macero Di Defazio Nicola & CSRL has been operating for about 30 years in the field of marketing all recycled materials.

Over time, the business has developed beyond all expectations, especially due to the strong specialization acquired, so much so that in just over a decade the company has become a leader in the sector for the North Bari area with approximately 19,434 tons of waste recycled annually. 

For some years it has undergone a gradual evolution and transformation of its business, passing from a pure and simple purchase and sale of recycled material to a real industrial activity, orienting itself with farsightedness towards the differentiation and compaction of the dry fraction of municipal solid waste and similar to the urban ones, finding considerable success consequent precisely to the changed reality of the market.

In fact, the company currently carries out industrial activities in the sector of valorisation and marketing of waste products that undergo a transformation into homogeneous goods that can be reused in the production cycle.
