About Company

This Engineer in Physics from the University of Lehigh, previously worked in the thermoelectric industry, developing new applications for sonic nozzles, which combined the flows of compressed air and water to generate a dense fog of very small particles of water.   Already inside The Raring Corp, Raring began to manufacture and use the sonic nozzles to create a cloud of artificial water, which is known as ADSTM Dry Fog (Suppression of agglomerative dust).   In 1987 the company was established in the city of Vancouver, state of Washington, USA, where it is up to day. At the beginning of the nineties, TRC began to venture into Latin America. In Chile and Peru, highlighting the projects of Cerro Colorado (BHP) and Cerro Verde (South of Peru). This is how the company was involved in the South American mining boom, which happened in Chile during that time.   In those days, the projects were carried out in the engineering offices located in the USA and Canada, who dragged by the great flow of projects mainly in Chile, began to open their offices in Santiago. TRC had to continue with this trend, in order to cover the commercial requirements that its customers were presenting. The Raring Corporation, arrived in Chile in 1992 through a representative agreement with Caucho Técnica, which represented and installed equipment in several mining plants in the country.   In 1997 TRC opened its first office outside the US, which was named TRC LTDA. In those years, was when most of the TRC ADSTM Dust Suppression Systems were installed in almost 80% of the mining area of Chile and most of them are still running fine. TRC worked directly with the engineering houses for national and foreign projects, providing engineering, maintenance, assembly and spare parts services in Chile, Peru, Argentina and Spain. Since the middle of the same decade, TRC has been present in the most important mining projects in Australia, where it has a wide presence and prestige. In 2010 he supplied the largest project in the history of TRC, Sino Iron in Australia.   In 1999, TRC authorized the manufacture and supply of dust suppression equipment, ADSTM Dry fog in the Indian market, by signing a license with FHarley. This agreement allowed FHarley to expand its range of products and services within their internal market and offer western technology with locally manufactured equipment. This licensing agreement is valid until today, allowing FHarley to receive technical assistance from the US and in the field, as well as import the TRC FP nozzles in order to integrate them into the local teams locally under the TRC license. The equipment originally installed in Peru were commercialized by TRC Chile, through the engineering houses also based in Chile, until 2005. That year TRC signed the representation contract with Blexim SAC. However, in 2009 PIMASA, then TRC representative in Chile, signed a representation in Peru with Blexim, so all TRC equipment and spares were sell though PIMASA. In 2015 TRC and Blexim SAC resumed the direct commercial relationship to supply equipment, spare parts and services in the Peruvian market.   In 2012 PIMASA, a Chilean Group focused in Mining supply and services, signed an agreement with David L. Raring, until then the sole owner of The Raring Corporation, to begin the process of purchasing the company. This began with the acquisition of 25% of the shares of TRC by PIMASA and the whole process finished on March 2017, when PIMASA finally acquired 100% of the shares of the corporation   Throughout the history of TRC, the North American market had dealt directly with the end users or with representatives only in the mining areas of the country. Until in 2017 The Raring Corp and PEBCO signed a representation contract in the fifty states, to promote and market the products and services offered by TRC.
