Our Story

The Junkluggers of Central VA is a family-owned and operated business of environmentally-aware junk luggers, striving to make the world a better place.

Company owner, Andy Taylor, discovered his passion for sustainable junk removal in the fall of 2016. While in the process of downsizing from their longtime Hanover County family home, Andy and his wife realized there was a major shortage of eco-friendly options in their area to dispose of unwanted items.

Andy saw an opportunity to keep waste out of local landfills by building a network of local charities that would benefit greatly from using second-chance items collected from local homes.

From there, in 2016, The Junkluggers of Central VA was born, and Andy and his team continue to play a large part in helping Richmond and the surrounding cities go green. The team at The Junkluggers of Central VA are proud members of the Richmond community, and hope you'll join them in their goal to eliminate 100% of reusable junk from landfills by 2025!
