The response team could be as little as one individual providing engineering or technical expertise, or a team of trained fire fighters providing manpower to complete the operation. If desired, our team is capable of taking complete control of an incident including the command post and providing post event report and investigation services.  The Fire Solutions Group Emergency Response Team (ERT) is designed to provide an unparalleled professional response to industrial fire events. The team is outfitted with the best in class equipment and comprised of professional firefighters and fire protection engineers to produce a highly effective and successful unit.

In addition to all the basic firefighting courses the members are trained to respond to technical rescue operations and hazardous materials events. In many cases the members have not only been students of a given class but are instructors that are state and nationally certified.  Our firefighters, picked from metropolitan areas, have an experience level that are one of the highest in the country, if not the world. An intensive training curriculum that meets national consensus standards (NFPA Standards 1670 and 1006) and federal standards (Department of Homeland Security/ Federal Emergency Management Agency Urban Search and Rescue National Response System Structural Collapse Technician) has been the standard training our members maintain.  The Technical Rescue School training curriculum encompasses all main disciplines of technical rescue operations (with significant emphasis on building collapse, high-angle rope rescue, confined space, water rescue, extrication, and specialized fire ground operations, as well as terrorism and Weapons of Mass Destruction operations).  Students assigned to this schooling receive 240 hours of instruction.
