About Us

Isco, Inc., was founded in 1958, and since its inception has been headquartered in Lincoln, Nebraska, USA. Through our focus on designing and building products to meet specialized customer needs, the company grew from founder Dr. Robert Allington's garage into its current 200,000 square foot plant.
In June of 2004, Isco was acquired by Teledyne Technologies, Inc. (www.teledyne.com), becoming Teledyne Isco, Inc. and beginning a new chapter in the company's story.

Today, Teledyne Isco manufactures a wide range of products for professionals working in water pollution monitoring and abatement, engineers and managers involved with wastewater process control, and scientists involved in field and laboratory work.

We have always taken pride in the fact that the products we produce are used by our customers to improve the quality of life on Earth. Benefits realized from the use of Isco products range from maintaining a clean environment, to developing disease-curing drugs and finding new energy supplies.

Water and Wastewater Monitoring Products

Teledyne Isco, Inc. is a leading manufacturer and supplier of rugged, reliable in-plant and field-portable instruments for monitoring water quality and pollution. Isco environmental products include refrigerated and portable automatic wastewater samplers; open-channel flow meters with acoustic-doppler area velocity, ultrasonic, bubbler, and submerged probe measurement technologies; and Flowlink® software for comprehensive flow data handling and analysis. Communication options including GSM cellular modem, 2-way radio, and Modbus provide information delivery solutions for a wide range of site and project requirements.

Laboratory Instruments

Teledyne Isco laboratory instruments encompass three main product lines:

• Programmable, precision syringe pumps used in a broad range of demanding fluid delivery applications.
• Liquid chromatography products including CombiFlash® separation systems and RediSep® media for high-productivity organic purification for medicinal and organic chemists; protein purification instruments including the BioOptix® multichannel system; and Foxy® and Retriever® brand fraction collectors.
• Unique density gradient fractionation systems that automate the preparation of gradient tubes for ultracentrifugation, and the fractionation and UV scanning of separated zones after the spin.
