TCR Engineered Components, LLC is a leading value-added manufacturer of highly engineered metal component parts, including specialty fasteners. TCR has the expertise in two distinct, primary manufacturing processes: Cold Forming, which is a forging process that involves the extrusion and/or upsetting of metal wire (either ferrous or non-ferrous) and Automatic Screw Machining, which involves cutting metal rod in a high production lathe. However, TCR's real competitive advantage comes from its ability to combine these processes to produce complex component parts.

TCR sells its products to OEMs in multiple industries including the automotive, industrial/commercial, hydraulic, and recreation industries.

TCR operates in a manufacturing facility located just outside of Minneapolis, MN. The TCR manufacturing facility is approximately 150,000 sq. ft in size and includes a complete array of single and multi-station cold forming machines, single and multiple spindle Automatic Screw Machines, and a complete complement of secondary equipment, heat treat facilities and metal finishing equipment.

TCR Engineered Components, LLC currently manufactures more than 600 different parts for over 150 different customers.

TCR’s ability to combine multiple forms of manufacturing at a single location has enabled it to manufacture very complex metal components. TCR’s capabilities include Cold Forming to 1 ¼ inches in diameter and multiple spindle Automatic Screw Machining to 3 ½ inches in diameter. Complex manufactured components range from close-tolerance hydraulic valve spools to specialized component parts in brake assemblies for all-terrain vehicles. Conversely, TCR also manufactures high-volume simple components for OEMs. Rivets, bolts and cribbage board pegs are just a few of TCR’s simple manufactured products.
