The SuperOx Box™ is manufactured by SuperOx Wastewater Co., LLC. a Texas based company that owns a patented, revolutionary technology that creates super oxygenated water which requires dramatically less energy than current oxygen injection and aeration methods.
SuperOx technology provides major economic benefits to owners and operators of municipal waste water treatment facilities who will spend over $50 billion this year aerating wastewater.
The simple design of the SuperOx Box technology creates proven reliability for the unit. Because of the simple design of the SuperOx Box™ technology and the modular nature of the SuperOx Box, the unit can easily be added to an existing plant or included in new construction. Most importantly, the process does not use chemicals to achieve its results, but utilizes a series of mechanical steps to efficiently provide aeration.
SuperOx Box’s™ Oxygenation Technology is a patented process which has demonstrated its ability to dramatically reduce costs while increasing the efficiency, effectiveness, and capacity of municipal wastewater facilities.
Current aeration methods are enormously inefficient and require substantially greater amounts of energy to deliver needed oxygen than does the SuperOx Box™ technology.
The combined SuperOx Box™ process efficiently delivers oxygen and holds it in water at higher levels providing greater aerobic activity which requires much less active aeration and energy use.
Our tests show that the horsepower required to provide aeration can be reduced by 2/3 with the implementation of the SuperOx Box™ technology.
The small, energy efficient, skid mounted package can be easily added on to an existing plant or included in new construction. The use of less electricity for aeration reduces green house gas emissions to help our customers meet EPA and TCEQ guidelines. Tests indicate the SuperOx Box™ also decreases water processing time by 20% which adds capacity without major capital spending
SuperOx technology provides major economic benefits to owners and operators of municipal waste water treatment facilities.
This substantially improves the oxygen transfer process and provides several economic and environmental benefits:
Reduces power usage at treatment plants by 40 to 60%
Decreases suspended solids and the detention time in a plant, thereby indicating increased plant capacity
Helps normalize effluent Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD), reducing sludge and bringing the plant into equilibrium
Reduces noise, odor and the amount of chemicals needed to treat odor
Lowers chlorine injection
Assists with regulatory requirements that call for decreasing power usage
We've worked closely with TCEQ. SuperOx Box™ provides a clear path to meet TCEQ rules to reduce power usage and support reduced air emissions.
