Waste management company Strobl - a success story

Managing director Bernhard Strobl looks back on a long history with his family-run waste management company.

Already in the second generation, the entrepreneur is continuing what his father Georg Strobl started in 1964 with state-of-the-art technology - at that time with a single truck.

The third generation with daughter Franziska Wiesner-Strobl and son Ferdinand Strobl also work in the company.

The expansion towards garbage disposal and recycling in 1990 led to a further expansion of the family business. Between 1990 and 1998 the fleet was expanded to include six more trucks. The number of employees rose accordingly.

Today Bernhard Strobl counts

• More than 30 employees,
• 15 trucks and
• About 1,000 containers.
• There are also various presses, machines for car recycling and much more.
