The history of Stoelman Papierrecycling goes back to the year 1914, when it was founded by WJ Stoelman as a small-scale waste paper business with mainly local printing companies as customers. In the century that followed, the company grew from a local waste paper collector to a group operating in many countries across three continents. In addition to the waste paper trade, the company today also specializes in the trade in cellulose and second-choice new paper and cardboard. This makes it an important player in both the national and international paper and cardboard industry. At the beginning of the 21st century, our company trades more than 100,000 tons of waste paper every year.
