Day after day, our customers and partners fight to ensure that the world does not run out of resources. They work on the future of the circular economy with a sense of responsibility, courage and entrepreneurship.
We are proud to be at our customers' side in this mission as a friend and know-how partner and to provide them with cutting-edge technologies that will significantly advance them.
The path to a global circular economy is not an easy one. From the responsible extraction of primary raw materials to political restrictions and technological hurdles, there are gigantic obstacles to overcome.
Nobody can do this alone. It's a path that requires trust and cooperation. A way in which everyone has to see themselves as part of the whole. Together we can push the boundaries of what is possible and produce ever purer secondary raw materials.
We are fully aware of this responsibility and contribute all of our knowledge and skills for it. Our special talent lies in searching for, finding and sorting resources.
That was true in 1889, when our founder , Ferdinand Steinert , first used magnetism, which has been known for centuries, to recover iron from steel slag and rubble.
STEINERT was considered to be the centric system for the recovery of non-ferrous metalsquestioned and revolutionized the industry with the eccentric NE separator.
It was the case when we first helped our customers to achieve unimagined success with a combination of the latest sensor technologies , which brought secondary raw materials believed to be lost back into the cycle.
And it applies today when we sound out new perspectives beyond the tried and tested procedures and understand resources as data that we collect with the help of our systems and make available for recycling.
This use of mature magnetic technologies on the one hand and the data-based view of primary and secondary raw materials on the other enable unprecedented progress in the search and sorting of resources. Above all, it enables our customers to make new breakthroughs on the way to a highly profitable and resource-saving circular economy.
PHILOSOPHY
Magnetic & Sensor Sorting Solutions
With a pioneering spirit and innovative strength, our aim is to win our partners
In our family business, we have had one major drive for 130 years: we are already thinking about tomorrow today. With solutions that help to protect important resources, with powerful technologies for the raw materials management of our customers in the primary and secondary raw material processing industry.
We have always been developing and supplying sophisticated magnetic and state-of-the-art sensor technology for sorting, as well as separation technologies and products that promote careful use of the environment. Technologies with which our customers generate added value in their business area, whether in waste and metal recycling (secondary raw material extraction) or in the primary extraction of raw materials in the mining industry.
Our engine is the innovative and pioneering spirit. With our own development department and close connections to universities and research institutions, we ensure our leading innovative strength so that our worldwide customers can process recyclable materials in their purest form.
In our ANOFOL® division, we anodize aluminum strip and manufacture high-precision coils for our STEINERT magnetic separators and other applications in electrical engineering.
With subsidiaries in the USA, Australia, Latin America and Germany, as well as with over 50 sales partnerships, we are internationally on site for our customers. With our knowledge and technologies, we make work in waste and metal recycling as well as in mining easier and more efficient - and successes more sustainable.
As a family company founded in 1889, with the strength and experience of our tradition and a look ahead, we are able to continue to act independently, long-term and sustainably.
We communicate openly, our management style is cooperative. We conduct controversial discussions with mutual respect and great appreciation for one another. With the opportunity to train at STEINERT, we offer young people an excellent start to their careers. Of course, we also support you with your studies, with bachelor, master and doctoral theses. We see this as an ideal opportunity to combine science and practice. And at the same time, we consider this investment to be a responsible task. We are passing on our passion for researching the best sorting solutions and securing them for the future.
We attach great importance to a continuous, cooperative and fair relationship with our suppliers and cooperation partners, as they are an essential part of our success.
For us, quality not only means manufacturing faultless and reliable products, but also continuously developing them in terms of quality and technology in order to meet the high demands of our customers. We have set up a quality management system in accordance with ISO 9001: 2015 and are constantly improving it to implement our mission statement and to implement the specified goals.
