When you’re looking to repair cracked, corroded metal, or if you’d like to prevent damage to metal in the first place, Steel Coatings has the answer.FBE coating rejuvenates and protects steel surfaces, helping organizations manage and maintain pipelines, concrete reinforcing bars and on a wide variety of piping connections, valves etc. The coating’s properties are positively charged, and applied to a grounded heated part which then cross links in the oven so bonding results in a non-permeable, long-lasting barrier that offers premium protection for the underlying metal.The final smooth finish allows liquids of varying temperatures to pass through or over the steel at an increased rate without making contact with the metal itself. This translates to a steel pipe or part that offers high performance in the most demanding environments.First, the steel is cleaned with abrasive blasting, a technique that removes rust, scale and all other surface contaminants as well as gives it a profile which helps with adhesion.
