The story of Star’s commitment to accuracy begins in 1984, when we first opened our doors as a manufacturer of high-quality industrial and commercial metal components. Since our first day on the job, we’ve worked hard to continuously improve and refine all aspects of our operation. That initiative has helped Star evolve into a leading provider of high-precision contract machining solutions for the most diverse and demanding industries.

Expanding into several different facilities in Lake County as we grew, Star was a Lake County Fast Track 50 winner for five consecutive years — in fact, our Hall of Fame plaque is still on display at Lakeland Community College.

Today, we make our home in beautiful downtown Mentor, Ohio, just 20 minutes East of Cleveland. With nearly 50,000 square feet of combined office and manufacturing space and 50 employees across our state-of-the-art facility, we have plenty of room for growth.
