Named as a tribute to their mothers, St. John & Myers is the only store of its kind in more than a 300-mile radius. Louis and Olivia personally select each piece of jewelry they offer, and each piece has passed the stringent St. John & Myers test.

To pass the first St. John & Myers test, the piece must first be of unquestionable quality. Louis is an expert judge of quality gems. He has more than 25 years of experience as a gemologist and an even broader background in fine jewelry. This enables him to create custom pieces. A sought-after speaker as well, Louis also has an in-depth knowledge of historical periods and the jewelry each period produced.

To pass the second St. John & Myers test, the piece must be an exquisite, one-of-a-kind piece that couples wearability with timeless design. Olivia has impeccable taste, and having grown up in Lexington, understands the area’s unique style. She also understands that no woman wants to attend a special function and see someone else with the identical jewelry. Unlike national chains or even high-end designer lines, this is not likely to happen with a piece of jewelry from St. John & Myers.

Established in 2007. After being led all over the world on the wings of adventure, co-founder Olivia Scholz finally found herself being called back home. Returning to get married and start a life with her husband to be, she introduced Louis to Lexington in 2003. St. John & Myers Jewelry was founded in 2007 by Louis and Olivia Scholz. In Fall 2012, they moved from their original location on Old Harrodsburg Road to their current location on Old Vine Street ( where Surgener Jewelers used to be located).
