Since the start in 1990, more and more industries, power companies and smelters throughout the Nordics have become our cooperation partners. At our roughly 50,000 m² facility in Osby, thousands of tons of scrap iron, cable, brass, aluminum, copper etc. are handled annually. From there, material is delivered to smelters all over Europe.

Since autumn 2018, Stålbolaget has been part of Lantz järn och metall AB and their associated company Cronimet i Norr AB.

The group is represented at facilities from Kalix in the north to Osby in the south. Together, the companies have enormous resources in the form of scrap shears, cable granulation, fragmentation, electronics recycling, etc.

We currently have approximately 120 employees and a turnover of approximately SEK 1.5 billion.
