Increased over the years, our extensive plant capacity developed to cater for our multi million pound turnover, is spread across four facilities manned by over 200 employees. It incorporates shot blasting, stress relieving, fitting, welding, machining, non-destructive testing, final paint, right on through to our own logistics network, resulting in high value finished items across many diverse sectors delivered right to your door. This is a single source solution for the customer as opposed to using a range of other individual supply chain members carrying out single activities.

Humble Beginnings…

Southwestern Manufacturing Inc. first opened their doors on October 5th, 1994. Initial owners John Gagnon and Vince Schiller opened up shop at 849 Walker Road in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. Starting with less than 20 employees and sharing a small shop with another company, SMI has come a long way to where they are today. This constant growth and progression is attributed to the extensive knowledge, experience, and care that SMI incorporates into every project.
