Solvent Recovery Systems is the number one name in acetone recycling. For 20 years we have made quality, long-lasting recycling machines to help meet EPA standards and save your company money. Whether you use five or 55 gallons per day we have a solution for you.The SRS unit is a sealed distillation based solvent recovery system. It offers you a 50% savings in replacement solvents and up to a 75% savings related to waste disposal. Distillation begins when the solvent is heated to its boiling point (Acetone 134º F). Once the contaminated solvent reaches this temperature the liquid converts to a vapor. The vapors are then collected in a special heat exchanger and condensed into clean, 99% pure solvent ready for reuse. After approximately 75% of the available solvent has been recovered the unit will shut itself off automatically with a heat sensor and/or timer shut-off. The contaminants, usually about 25% by volume, are left over in a high temperature nylon bag for proper waste disposal. For example, if you place 55 gallons of clean acetone in a plant today and use it during production, after a 24-hour period you would have lost approximately 25% (14 gallons) to usage, evaporation, and spillage. This would leave 41 gallons of dirty acetone that could be distilled in the recycler. Out of these 41 gallons, you will average 75% (31 gallons) of pure acetone solvent, and would leave 10 gallons as solid waste to be properly disposed of. Most waste is classified as Hazardous and must be disposed of accordingly. Therefore, even before the process begins, all waste solvents with resin would probably be considered Hazardous. But with a Recycler, you would end up with only 25% for disposal after distillation rather than the 100%. In some counties and states, if the waste is cooked to a hard substance, then it can be tested for flammability. If none is found, it may be declassified by the state.
The U.S. Government recently passed the "Tax Relief, Unemployment Insurance Reauthorization, and Job Creation Act of 2010" (http://www.whitehouse.gov/taxcut) which contains an allowance for 100% expensing of investments in 2011. Here is the summary:100 Percent Expensing: The agreement includes the President’s proposal to temporarily allow businesses to expense 100% of their investments in 2011, potentially generating more than $50 billion in additional investment in 2011, which will fuel job creation."So in addition to our lowest prices in years you can take advantage of this one year incentive to fully deduct the purchase price from your corporate taxes.
