4th Generation, Family-Owned.

At Sioux Steel Company, we’ve spent over a century focused on providing value to our customers. What started in 1918 as a dream to start a steel corrugating business has grown into a fourth- generation, family-owned company that manufactures products that provide solutions throughout the world.

Because we know that value is just as important to you, we stand behind the quality and durability of all of our products. Founder & First Generation Owner, Charles Rysdon

Established in 1918 and founded by Charles Rysdon, Sioux Steel Company’s facilities were first located in a small horse barn with an adjacent wagon repair area.

Second Generation Owner, Max Rysdon

Charles Rysdon’s son Max was 15 when his dad started the company. Max’s first summer job was as water-boy for the factory, seeing that the drinking water was kept full and iced.
